Conclusion
-finding myself with odds with past experts is perhaps the fine line to straddle, on one hand it is my job as a researcher to build on and diverge from what has already been said, on the other hand I am not here to commit blasphemy by disregarding the expertise of one of the most important scholars of the Venetian Renaissance, one whose work as both as a scholar and cultural ambassador of Venetian culture in the United States I admire greatly.
